About
I’m Ysobel and I am now working in research and development. I am passionate about social media and it is now my current study. I am fan of Mashable and TechCrunch, as you can see most of the articles found in my blog came from their web site. I enjoy tweeting during my free time (?). I started tweeting April 2009 and I am overwhelmed by the power of social media and the success behind it.
PaintedColors is my blog, and in here I compile the articles which I need most in my profession. As a business development manager working for online product research and development, I am interested to know the latest in Google, Facebook and Twitter. If you have any interesting article you want to share with, please don’t hesitate! I especially enjoy receiving articles from visitors sharing their articles with me. *Thanks*
QUESTION & ANSWER with Ysobel :
How do you best describe yourself:
I constantly whine about time. I feel I need atleast 30 hours to complete my day (that extra 6 hours is for my ZZzzzs!)
Why social media:
A big part of life is about connections. How we connect is about communication. Who we communicate with is our network. Our network is whom we share information with. We share information in the web. The web happens to be the biggest place in the world.
Social media technology makes our world smaller by giving us: ACCESSIBILITY, REAL TIME RESULTS AND AFFORDABILITY.
Aside from social media technology, what are you passionate about?
Interior designing - this keeps me outta trouble!
Travelling - I need this to unwind, and I enjoy going to the beach most especially
Photography - all memories are meant to be beautiful, no matter what
Favorite social media expert:
Since top Twitter user @aplusk (Ashton Kutcher) is almost not a viable candidate, I chose @mashable (Pete Cashmore) …. yay!
Where will social media be 10 years from now?
Does it count that President Obama made use of social media to win his campaign? And twitting in space is not uncommon… and Twitterers help find a missing dog. The future is now, and all the possibilities of making communication accessible, real time and affordable is right here in front of us — free. Social media will continue to shape our communication methods. Modern methods of information sharing have become our way of life and the global economy. Social media will continue to soar and make connections, bring in the kids and the unknown possibilities of innovation and new discoveries are endless.
